If programming yields isn't 100% when using socket converter, we recommend to bypass converter pins, respond to ground and supply pin of programmed device, by capacitor about 22nF value. Its enough to sold the capacitor between pins going to programmer's socket.

  • XXXX- type of socket and number of pins on programmer side
  • YYYY- type of socket and number of pins on device side
  • ZZZ
           ZIF - Zero Insertion Force socket
            ZIF-CS - ClamShell ZIF socket
  • AAAA- additional identification (size, purpose)
    • Example: DIL48/PLCC64 ZIF MCS51-1
